CLEAR HORIZONS Retired H. Douglas ‘12 Tet, 5 1/4”, Dor, M-Re, 27”, 20 buds, 3 way branching (MY LIPS ARE SEALED X LAKE EFFECT) Very similar to Charles’ HM winning MY LIPS ARE SEALED, but in pink and purple instead of red and white. The mauve pink petals are a nice contrast to the grape purple eye and picotee edge. The purple eye fades into the yellow to green throat. Slightly ruffled, CLEAR HORIZONS is striking in a clump. Fertile both ways. |
